How government growth is like a cancer – according to Chaos.
As we have reminded, many times, the theoryofpat is where we allow Chaos to get out to play. Not all of us agree with her conclusions but it’s better for us to let her free to express than to reign her in and try to squelch.
Private industry establishes healthy, profitable businesses not only enrich the inventor, founders of business but provides employment for people and products for people to use.
The most useful and desired products provide the most profit for the business.
Businesses grow and copycats and competition sets in.
Competition breeds improved products and services for the consumers but puts pressure on businesses who don’t appreciate the horning in on their corner.
As luck would have it, there exist people who will do favors for the right amount of money. These people are called charlatans, goons and politicians.
One pizza business may not exist next to another pizza business, at least that’s the assumption, therefor we must have someone set up rules for separation and that’s the point where charlatans, goons and politicians open for business.
Like the Sopranos ganster family these charlatans, goons and politicians must always keep eyes in the back of their heads because there is always another charlatan, goon or politician eager to help one business succeed while burying the competition…but not completely destroy because people will loose jobs and start noticing all is not well in Utopia, and they will change voting practices if burned too badly by their chosen bureaucrat. Not good for the firmly intrenched in egoistic persuits.
Government expands parasitically though extraction of sustenance from healthy cells (business) to replace with bloated, tired cells (agencies & bureaucrats) to ostensibly serve people displaced through government meddling.
This leads to people becoming dependent upon government assistance which allows the charlatans, goons and politicians to continue manipulating business and commerce in the direction that most favors the charlatans, goons and politicians.
