It’s probably a maturity thing as we progress from the comfortable safety of infancy and enter the Brave New World. It’s only natural to want to drag the security blanket into adulthood and be sheltered by a myriad system of government laws, rules and regulations designed to protect us from ourselves.
Every generation makes a collective stand against something…and politicians and pundits will say and do anything to keep the noise level at 11.
Social planners movers and shakers intent upon inserting their visions into our collective minds work overtime to see their schemes play out.
It is up to each of us to learn everything about the enemy without depending upon being informed through the filters of ideological leaders pundits and other bureaucratic paper pounders.
Alas, it is becoming more and more difficult to do just that day by day.
